Léonie Borel is a consultant at Tana Copenhagen, with experience in democracy and governance, humanitarian sector, refugee/asylum-seekers rights, and livelihoods development. She is strong in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. She is able to work with MaxQDA, Nvivo, Excel, Tableau, STATA, R and ArcGIS.

She has worked on more than 11 assignments for Sida, Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the World Food Programme and Kvinna till Kvinna. She has supported large evaluations such as the Country Strategic Programme Evaluation of Pakistan, the Evaluability of Sida’s Approaches to Democratization in Different Context and the Evaluation of Folke Bernadotte Academy by providing analysis on large data sets and producing data visualisation to be implemented on to reports, or through qualitative desk-research and assistance in report writing. Furthermore, she has also assisted numerous remote data collection including conducting multi-lingual online survey from survey design phase to data analysis and data visualisation. Léonie has also assisted in the coordination of capacity building courses with the Danish Fellowship Centre which involved participants from around the globe.

Lastly, she conducted field work in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nepal and Denmark. Léonie is a Canadian & French national and is fluent in English and French. She holds a master’s degree in Global Development from the University of Copenhagen.
