Formulation of Context Analysis Uganda Strategic Framework 2023-2027 (USF)
The Embassy of Denmark in Kampala, Uganda (RDE) is preparing the Uganda Strategic Framework (USF), which shall cover Denmark’s partnership with Uganda for the period 2023 – 2027. The USF will outline Denmark’s entire engagement and strategic direction in the country, and will form the basis for the Bilateral Development Programme (BDP) to be implemented over these five years. The USF will be aligned with the Government of Uganda’s (GoU) Third National Development Plan for the period 2020-2025 (NDP III), while paying particular attention to the three main strategic objectives of Denmark’s new Strategy for Development Cooperation (SDC), “The World We Share”. These are i) The “Green Agenda”, ii) the approach to the refugee response under the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (CRRF), and iii) the strengthening of Democracy, good governance and human rights.
Tana Copenhagen has been appointed to assist the RDE in drafting the Uganda Strategic Framework (USF) which will provide a basis for the subsequent formulation of the Bilateral Development Programme (BDP). Our Managing Director, Erik Bryld is leading a team of four experts to carry out the assignment.
