Grace Muchunu is an international development professional with 6 years’ experience supporting research, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development aid programmes in Eastern Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, South Sudan). She has conducted gender studies covering natural resource management related to agriculture and land management as well as provided project management support to an undergoing study on the livestock economy in South Sudan. Over time, she has gained an increased knowledge base of fragility and vulnerability surrounding marginalized populations in fragile settings, accumulating skills in conducting peace and conflict assessments as well as political economy analysis. Grace has significant first-hand programming experience in prevention and response to Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), youth education in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and Child Protection. Her technical research skills include conducting key informant interviews and focus group discussions.
