Formulation of Africa for Peace Programme

Tana Copenhagen is formulating the Africa for Peace Programme phase IV for Danida.

The programme will have a budget of 180 million DKK for the period from 2018-2021.

The aim of the programme is to support organisations central to the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA) and Africa Governance Architecture (AGA) and build organisational capacity to implement strategies for pursuing objectives within each organisation’s mandate. Supported organisations under the programme include, AU, IGAD, and ECOWAS. The new programme will focus on preventative diplomacy and support to elections.

The purpose of the assignment is to assist the Danish Embassy in Addis Ababa with the preparation of phase 4 of the programme, including design and following up on lessons learned from phase 3.
