Mid-term Review of the Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) II in Uganda
Danida has appointed Tana Copenhagen to carry out a mid-term review of Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) II in Uganda. DGF is a five-year governance programme aimed at providing harmonised, coherent and well-coordinated support to state and non-state entities to strengthen democratisation, protect human rights, improve access to justice and enhance accountability in Uganda. It is supported by seven DPs: Austria, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the European Union
The review will assess the effects of changes made from DGF I, including in relation to partners (IPs). The review will also make a value for money (VFM) assessment of DGF II. The review aims to demonstrate the benefits of DGF interventions to beneficiaries, their overall sustainability, and the value of DGF interventions compared to credible alternatives.
