Midterm Review of the Regional Peace and Stabilisation Programme for the Horn of Africa (2018-2022)

Tana Copenhagen has recently been appointed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct a midterm review of the Regional Peace and Stabilisation Programme in the Horn of Africa (PSP HoA). The objective of the PSP HoA 2018-2022 is to improve peace and stability in the Horn of Africa by strengthening local, national and regional actors’ capacity and ability to manage conflict and insecurity, counter threats and exercise legitimate authority.  The purpose of the review is to ensure that the programme is delivering results as intended, to inform for any real-time modifications that might be required in order to optimise results, and to inform the next phase of the programme based on a lessons learned and potential alterations required. The review will provide recommendations for adjustment of the ongoing programme as required. It will also provide recommendations to the next phase of the programme, for which planning will commence shortly after the end of the review.

This assignment is led by our senior in-house consultant, Erik Bryld, who is also a Peace and Stabilisation Specialist. Tana also provides one Result Management Specialist and and one Financial Management Specialist.
